Role Description The Buyer Agent Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Sulphur, LA. This role focuses on representing and guiding residential buyers through every stage of the home purchase process, from initial consultation to closing. Day-to-day responsibilities include meeting with prospective buyers to understand their needs, conducting property searches, scheduling and attending showings, and providing market insights. The Buyer Agent Specialist will prepare and present offers, negotiate terms on behalf of clients, coordinate inspections and appraisals, and work closely with lenders, title companies, and other professionals to ensure a smooth transaction. The role also involves prospecting for new buyer leads, maintaining accurate records in CRM and brokerage systems, and participating in office meetings and training sessions. Qualifications Active real estate license in Louisiana (or ability to obtain one within a specified timeframe). Strong client service and relationship-building skills, with the ability to listen, communicate clearly, and advocate for buyers’ needs. Solid understanding of the local Sulphur, LA real estate market or willingness to learn quickly and stay current on market trends. Competence with basic technology tools, including email, CRM software, online listing platforms, and digital document tools. Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple buyers, property tours, and transactions simultaneously. Comfort with prospecting activities such as networking, follow-up calls, open houses, and community outreach. Ability to work collaboratively with team members, lenders, inspectors, and closing agents while maintaining professional standards. Reliable transportation for local travel to showings, inspections, and client meetings. High level of integrity, ethical conduct, and commitment to fair housing and non-discriminatory practices. Prior experience in sales, customer service, or real estate is beneficial but not strictly required; training and mentoring will be provided.
