SUMMARY: Coordinates activities involved with procuring goods and services such as raw materials, equipment, tools, parts, and supplies, for the organization by performing the following duties. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Reviews MRP reports and issues Purchase Orders to satisfy requirements. If requirements cannot be satisfied in a timely manner, notifies Planning to reschedule the Customer Order. Reviews Material Requisitions from the floor and procures necessary items. Works with shortage report to expedite the past due orders. Maintains procurement records such as Purchase Orders, Quotes, vender performance reviews, component library and Requisitions. Contacts vendors to obtain return material authorization (RMA's) for non-conforming materials. For outgoing quotes, receives Bill of Material from Documentation and obtains price, delivery, and other related costs from ADCO's established vendor base. Reviews responses, adheres to best price/delivery. Returns completed material quotation to Documentation. Once new contracts are obtained, reviews existing quote, assigns vendors to components, and procures within established budget. Supervises the return of such material and issues Debit Memo to Accounts Payable. Expedites delivery of goods to users. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Excellent communication skills. 4. Ability to deal with problem vendors and achieve desired results. 5. Ability to effectively manage time and handle a variety of tasks. 6. Good organizational skills. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree preferred and a minimum of three years Purchasing or Electronics Manufacturing experience.
