Purpose of Position: We are seeking a Buyer to help us continually aspire to our purpose and mission by ensuring the timely procurement of materials, components, and services that support our manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for partnering with suppliers and internal stakeholders to maintain material availability, optimize inventory, control costs, and support continuous improvement initiatives throughout our supply chain. Job Responsibilities: Purchase assigned commodities and materials, ensuring quality, price, and timely delivery. Monitor inventory levels and work with planning to maintain optimal stock levels. Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers; evaluate vendor performance in conjunction with Quality Department Management. Issue purchase orders and manage order confirmations, delivery dates, and pricing. Resolve invoice discrepancies and supplier issues. Assist in sourcing alternate suppliers or materials when needed. Support cost reduction initiatives and continuous improvement in supply chain processes. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures Job Qualifications: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field, or 2+ years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment Strong organizational and communication skills Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office Negotiation and vendor management experience Detail-oriented with a sense of urgency and accountability Company Values: Relationships – We C.A.R.E (Connect, Appreciate, Respect, Empathize).
