About the Role Q-Edge Corporation, a Foxconn Technology Group company, is seeking a detail-oriented Buyer to join our Supply Chain team. In this role, you will be responsible for raw material purchasing, inventory planning, import/export coordination, and supplier management to ensure uninterrupted production. The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Purchase raw materials and ensure suppliers meet delivery commitments. Manage material forecasts, backlog reports, and maintain accurate supply plans in SAP for MRP. Coordinate Supply, Demand, and Inventory (PSI) reports with Material Control (MC) to monitor material coverage. Maintain raw material lead times based on customer procurement strategies. Meet regularly with Material Program Management (MPM) teams to provide updates on material supply plans. Coordinate bonded material imports and exports within Foreign Trade Zones (FTZ) and manage the RMA process. Resolve material shortages and support cross-factory material transfers. Track shipment schedules, including ETD (Estimated Time of Departure) and ETA (Estimated Time of Arrival). Work closely with internal teams and customers to ensure smooth supply chain operations. QualificationsRequired Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, or a related field. 1–3 years of procurement, purchasing, or supply chain experience. Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conflict resolution abilities. Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and work collaboratively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Preferred Experience working with SAP or other ERP/MRP systems. Experience in a manufacturing or electronics environment. Knowledge of import/export processes and Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) operations. Working Conditions Office-based position in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Occasional overtime or non-core working hours may be required to support business operations and urgent supply chain needs. Ability to respond to after-hours operational issues when necessary.
