Job Description: Will have specialized experience in purchasing and or contracts. Experience with CAD drawings including knowledge of Automotive and Proto-Type parts required. Expert PC Skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other technical software) and excellent communication/interpersonal skills required. Ability to travel and work overtime may be required. SAP Experience required. Responsibilities : Strong coordination / project support ability in a fast-moving, changing environment Ability to manage open purchase orders (POs) and track multiple items simultaneously Proven skill in working cross-functionally with internal teams (designers, stakeholders) and external suppliers High attention to detail and ability to stay organized in an R&D setting where priorities shift frequently Requirements: Clear, effective verbal and written communication Comfortable interacting with suppliers and internal customers Demonstrated problem-solving ability and follow-through Ability and willingness to learn new systems and processes Approximately 5+ years of relevant experience (flexible) Not suitable for entry-level or brand-new college graduates Emphasis on capability and adaptability over years of tenure Preferred: Experience with SAP Experience with Ariba / SAP Business Network for supplier communication Industry Background Automotive industry experience Prior Client experience or familiarity with Client culture and processes Technical Exposure Basic CAD drawing interpretation Ability to view drawings and pull part information No CAD manipulation required Education: Requires a BS degree in Business Administration or related degree and a minimum of 5+ years experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
