Business Operations and Accounting Assistant $55,000-$80,000 annually

We are a midsized multifamily real estate company looking for a Business Operations Assistant who brings energy, curiosity, and strong follow-through.
This role is a key connector for our corporate office—supporting accounting, ownership, acquisitions, technology, and overall company operations.

What You’ll Do

  • Support daily accounting tasks such as basic bookkeeping, financial documentation, and quarterly reporting.
  • Assist with IT troubleshooting including computers, printers, software updates, and connectivity.
  • Maintain CRM data and support general office technology.
  • Coordinate documents, Docusign requests, scheduling needs, and vendor communication.
  • Organize office operations such as emails, calls, mail distribution, and administrative requests.
  • Support Co-CEOs and Senior Management with special projects.
  • Participate in acquisitions and dispositions through document coordination.
  • Lead the quarterly company newsletter and help manage the Culture Program.
  • Assist with planning company events.
  • Promote the company’s values and support a positive, growth-minded culture.

What You Bring

  • 2–3 years of basic accounting or financial reporting
    OR a degree in Business, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
  • Experience with office IT troubleshooting
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Experience with CRM platforms and document management tools
  • Excellent organization, time management, and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills and an upbeat, solution-oriented attitude
  • Ability to work independently and with a team
  • A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift, carry, bend, climb stairs, or move up to 25 lbs.
  • Comfort answering phones, greeting clients, and managing multiple communication channels.
