Business Development Representative: Fleet Upfitting & Wrapping

The one who can walk a county fleet manager, a construction superintendent, or a contractor running 12 service trucks through why their vehicles need to be built right the first time, and why the shop that builds them should also wrap them. Maybe you've sold in a dealership's commercial or fleet department and got tired of selling iron with no say in the build. Maybe you've sold lighting, equipment, or upfit packages for a distributor and want to sell the finished product. Maybe you've worked in a sign or wrap shop and you know what makes a business owner say yes. Maybe you've worked in public safety or the trades and you know exactly what the buyer cares about because you used to be the buyer. Whatever the path, you know the fleet buyer. They care about uptime, not features. A work truck sitting in the shop isn't earning. A patrol unit sitting in the shop isn't on the road. They've been burned by shops that blew deadlines or did sloppy wiring, and by wraps that peeled after one Texas summer. You know how to earn their trust and get to a signed estimate. Who we are Flasher Fleet Solutions is the vehicle upfitting division of Flasher Equipment Co., a family-owned Texas company in traffic control since 1956. From our shops in Victoria and San Antonio, we build out vehicles for law enforcement and first responders, construction, utility and roadwork fleets, commercial fleets, and personal trucks. The Wrap Guys, a Flasher Fleet Solutions company, handles vehicle, fleet, boat, and trailer wraps, plus decals and signage, with in-house design and printing. You work inbound leads, build your own outbound pipeline, close the deal, and hand it to our production team for scheduling and install. Then you go find the next one. Outbound. Build and work a target list of fleets across South Texas: sheriff's offices, constables, police departments, fire and EMS, school districts, cities and counties, utilities, energy and oilfield services, contractors, and any business running service vehicles. Expect job-site visits, shop tours, and in-person follow-up, not just email. Inbound. Leads from Google Ads, Meta, our websites, social, phone, and referrals land in our CRM. You respond fast, qualify, run discovery, build the quote with our shop leads on hours and timeline, and close. Cross-sell every deal. Upfit it, then wrap it. Every upfit is a wrap or decal opportunity, and every fleet wrap customer has trucks that need lighting and equipment. Consumer sales. Personal truck builds and boat and trailer wraps come through too. Same speed, same professionalism. Account growth. Once a fleet buys, you own the relationship for the next unit, the next budget year, and the next service. Territory: Victoria and the Crossroads, San Antonio, Corpus Christi and the Coastal Bend, and the Houston corridor. Expect regular day trips. How you're measured Your KPIs are simple: meetings booked and closed revenue. You'll carry a quota tied to both. We also watch: Quotes sent and quote-to-close rate Cross-sell rate between upfitting and wraps Speed to lead on inbound Pipeline hygiene. Every lead, call, quote, and follow-up is logged in our CRM.
