The role is focused on hunting new business and offers a $160,000 base salary plus an aggressive commission plan. What you’ll do Approach importers and exporters in the Los Angeles market. Find out where their cargo moves, who chooses the forwarder and when there is an opportunity to quote. Work with pricing and operations to put the service in front of the shipper. Take ownership of the follow-up and turn a competitive quote into a first booking. What you’ll bring Experience selling international air and ocean freight and winning accounts through your own prospecting.
