Business Development Manager

Description: Location : Remote Schedule : Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm Travel : Occasional, based on business needs Join Our Team Are you a hunter who loves opening doors and turning prospects into partners? Hill Bros Logistics is looking for a Business Development Manager to drive revenue and diversify our customer base. You’ll find new business, build solutions around what customers need, and grow the accounts you win. If you’re consultative, competitive, and driven by results, this is your seat. What You’ll Do Hunt New Business : Research, cold call, and qualify prospects, then bring a strategic, consultative approach to every conversation Build Solutions : Develop customer solutions and SOPs so everyone understands account requirements and expectations Own the Relationship : Resolve customer questions and concerns quickly, and keep satisfaction high long after the first load Partner with Operations : Work with our capacity team to secure carrier or 3PL capacity and match freight needs to sales opportunities Price to Win : Contribute to bid packages and follow up on pricing opportunities with a sharp eye on profitability Run the Pipeline : Track opportunities and revenue potential in our TMW system and CRM, and make sure every shipment is executed to standard Requirements: What We’re Looking For High school diploma or GED required 2+ years of related experience preferred; logistics sales experience preferred Strong prospecting, negotiation, and communication skills A consultative, self-driven approach and comfort with cold calling Working knowledge of market, competition, and pricing TMW or CRM experience is helpful but not necessary Willingness to travel as business needs require Why Join Hill Bros?
