Wind Harvest International designs, sells, and develops projects for mid-size, H-type vertical-axis wind turbines that capture turbulent, mid-level winds where traditional turbines can’t go. We are on course to reach Technology Readiness Level 8 in the first half of 2027 and TRL 9 in 2028, and we are scaling up manufacturing to meet growing demand. The Role We are looking for a candidate interested in sales and marketing to help us find the manufacturers and customers that will take our technology to scale. You will research and open conversations on two fronts, global suppliers and new project sites, then hand warm leads to our team to take forward. You will work directly with our Finance & Operations Associate and COO and gain hands-on business development experience at a growing clean-energy company. Strong performance can lead to a full-time role. Key Responsibilities • Supply chain sourcing (primary). Research manufacturers worldwide that can produce components for our turbines. Use LinkedIn, phone, and email to find the right contact, start the conversation, and hand qualified suppliers to the team. • Sales prospecting (primary). Identify regions with strong wind resources and potential sites for behind-the-meter projects, larger utility projects, or installations beneath existing wind farms. Find decisionmakers, open the conversation, and pass warm leads to the team. • Lead tracking. Keep supplier and prospect contacts, notes, and next steps organized in our CRM. • Social media. Help create and post content on LinkedIn, Facebook, and other channels. • Office support. Assist with general office tasks as needed. Qualifications •Currently enrolled students or recent graduates possessing a demonstrated interest in sales, marketing, or business development. •Comfortable and confident conducting outbound cold outreach and cold calling to engage prospective customers, project site decision-makers, and international component manufacturers. •Strong written and verbal communication; organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently •Fluency in one or more languages besides English is a strong plus for global supplier outreach •Experience with data analysis tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, or Power BI to turn research into clear comparisons and recommendations Also preferred • Educational Background in business, marketing, engineering, or a related field; interest in renewable energy or manufacturing; social media experience •International students with U.S. work authorization, such as F-1 CPT, are welcome to apply Wind Harvest International is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of any characteristic protected by law.
