Business Controller - US Distribution Center Operations
LaddersFor our client, we are seeking a Business Controller - US Distribution Center Operations to join the team of a leader in the Manufacturing & Automotive space. This role will oversee business controls, financial reporting, and compliance across a network of distribution center operations in the U.S. It will partner closely with operations, finance, and leadership teams to strengthen decision-making, improve financial visibility, and support strategic planning. The position also includes leading a finance team and driving continuous improvement across financial processes and controls. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $125,000 – $150,000 annually Responsibilities Develop and manage business controls, financial reporting, and compliance across the U.S. distribution center network Analyze financial data and KPIs to identify trends and improvement opportunities Prepare accurate financial reports, forecasts, and business case analyses for senior management Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic planning and decision-making Drive process optimization and implement best practices in financial operations Ensure consistent monitoring of processes and controls within the distribution center network Lead and mentor a finance team, promoting continuous improvement and professional development Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field 12+ years of progressive experience in financial controlling, accounting, or business finance Strong leadership experience managing and developing finance teams Demonstrated expertise in financial analysis, reporting, cash flow, inventories, reconciliations, internal controls, and business intelligence Proficiency in Excel, data analysis tools, and financial systems such as SAP or similar ERP systems Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and accuracy Benefits Choice between two medical plan options: PPO plan or High Deductible Health Plan with HSA Two dental plan options: Core and Core Plus Vision benefit Company paid life insurance (2X base pay) Paid Short Term and Long Term Disability Paid Parental Leave 401k Savings Plan with company contributions Employee Stock Acquisition Plan (ESAP) 11 paid holidays and permissive vacation policy Employee assistance and health advocate support resources Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
