Bus Driver – Transportation Department (Full-Time)

Join our amazing team at Havenwood Heritage Heights! We are seeking an experienced, dependable, and customer-focused Full-Time Bus Driver to join our Transportation Department. In this rewarding role, you will provide safe, reliable, and courteous transportation services to residents of our senior living community. You will have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with a wonderful and diverse group of residents while helping them maintain their independence, stay connected, and participate in community activities. Key Responsibilities Safely transport residents to and from scheduled medical appointments, shopping trips, community outings, and special events. Provide transportation for resident activities and recreational programs. Assist residents with safely entering and exiting vehicles, including those requiring mobility assistance. Ensure residents are transported safely, comfortably, and on schedule. Conduct routine pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and promptly report maintenance or safety concerns. Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming vehicle environment. Follow all applicable traffic laws, transportation regulations, and organizational safety procedures. Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a professional, patient, and compassionate approach. Qualifications Valid New Hampshire Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with passenger endorsement required. Safe driving record. Previous experience operating buses or passenger transportation vehicles preferred. Experience working with older adults and/or individuals with mobility challenges preferred. Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills. Dependable, punctual, patient, and committed to resident safety. Ability to assist residents with mobility needs while maintaining their dignity and independence. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. Physical and Safety Requirements Applicants must meet all applicable driver qualification and medical certification requirements under the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (49 CFR 391.41–391.49) , as applicable to the position and vehicle operated.
