Bus Driver/Transportation Coordinator
KIN-DIR Education FoundationADAPT/KIN-DIR Education Foundation is a not-for-profit, Alberta Education approved, independent ECS operator in Calgary and area. We screen, assess, and treat developmental delays and disabilities in children 2 years 8 months old to kindergarten age. Our team consists of educators and therapists (Speech Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Psychologists) specializing in early childhood development. We also work with families regarding challenging behaviors, developmental tasks, and positive parenting. The services are provided in a variety of settings such as preschools, daycares and in-home. We are looking for a part-time Bus Driver/Transportation Coordinator to join our team for the 2026-2027 school year. The role involves operating one of our company vehicles to transport the children to and from our programs and maintaining our fleet and routes. Qualifications: · Minimum of one year of experience transporting children to school · Experience transporting children with special needs an asset · Valid Class 4 Driver’s License with S endorsement · Commercial Driver's Abstract · Valid Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector Search Disclosure · Valid Child Care First Aid and CPR Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour Benefits: Casual dress Dental care Extended health care RRSP match Experience: driving: 1 year (required) working with kids with special needs: 1 year (required) Licence/Certification: Class 4 S endorsement Drivers License (required) Work Location: On the road
