Building Materials Contractor Sales / Counter Sales

Duties Assist with contractor sales by providing product information, processing orders, and ensuring customer satisfaction Load and unload materials using forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment while adhering to OSHA safety standards Pick orders Help manage shipping & receiving processes, including verifying shipments, preparing freight documentation, and coordinating delivery schedules Maintain yard organization by ensuring proper storage practices Support facility supervision by assisting with inventory counts, process improvements, and safety protocols Skills Building Materials knowledge and material handling experience Skilled in operating forklifts Familiarity with OSHA safety standards for equipment use Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper ergonomic practices Construction or landscaping background preferred; knowledge of construction materials is a plus Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory control and order accuracy Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members Pay: $18.00 - $27.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) matching Health insurance Work Location: In person
