Responsibilities Provide friendly, knowledgeable assistance to customers by answering questions about products, consumption methods, and effects to enhance their experience. Educate customers on new or featured items to promote sales and brand loyalty. Manage daily stocking, merchandising, and inventory replenishment to keep displays attractive and organized. Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately for cash handling, sales transactions, and receipts processing. Assist with inventory tracking, stock counts, and ordering supplies to maintain optimal stock levels. Uphold compliance with all state regulations regarding product sales and customer age verification procedures. Maintain professional phone etiquette when handling inquiries , ensuring clear communication at all times. Support upselling efforts by recommending additional products based on customer preferences to maximize sales opportunities. Ensure cleanliness and organization of the retail space in accordance with safety standards and company policies. Experience Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially specialty retail environments involving customer service and merchandising. Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership skills in managing team members or shifts effectively. Familiarity with POS systems, Cova, Metric and Carrot, cash handling procedures, and retail math for accurate transactions. Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer bases effectively. Strong communication skills coupled with excellent phone etiquette to foster positive customer interactions. Experience in upselling techniques and product demos that drive sales growth. Basic math skills necessary for cash register operations and inventory calculations.
