RESPONSIBILITIES:
Budtender Duties:
Greet and assist customers with a positive, welcoming, and friendly attitude.
Provide detailed, accurate information on various cannabis products, strains, consumption methods, and their effects.
Recommend suitable products based on individual customer needs, preferences, and feedback.
Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system, handling cash and debit transactions accurately and efficiently.
Maintain a clean, visually appealing, and organized dispensary floor and display cases.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new brand drops, and evolving product knowledge.
Uphold all state and local regulatory compliance requirements during customer interactions and sales.
Inventory Representative Duties:
Receive and process incoming deliveries, verifying physical shipments against manifests and purchase orders.
Accurately input and manage inventory data using our POS and state seed-to-sale tracking software (e.g., METRC).
Perform daily, weekly, and monthly physical inventory audits, investigating and resolving any discrepancies.
Organize and maintain the secure vault/stockroom, ensuring products are stored safely and logically (e.g., First-In, First-Out method).
Conduct quality control checks to ensure packaging integrity, accurate labeling, and monitoring expiration dates.
Efficiently fulfill product restock requests for the sales floor to ensure Budtenders have the inventory they need.
Maintain strict confidentiality and security protocols regarding the back-of-house inventory area.
LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead by example in providing exceptional customer service and meticulous inventory management.
Assist in training and mentoring new team members on both sales floor and vault procedures.
Assist in developing and implementing operational procedures to improve store flow and inventory accuracy.
Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment between front-of-house and back-of-house staff.
Take initiative in resolving customer issues and improving overall store operations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be 21 years of age or older.
Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in the cannabis industry.
Prior experience in retail inventory, warehousing, or data entry is highly preferred.
Knowledge of cannabis products, strains, and state industry regulations.
Familiarity with inventory tracking systems, POS software, and/or seed-to-sale tracking (METRC experience is a major plus).
Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational and math skills.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks seamlessly.
