In this role, you will serve as the welcoming face of our store, providing exceptional customer service while assisting customers with their product selections and inquiries. Your expertise will help educate customers about our products, promote sales, and ensure a smooth and engaging shopping experience. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly upon arrival, creating a friendly and inviting atmosphere at the front desk. Assist customers in selecting products by providing detailed product knowledge and conducting product demos when appropriate. Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system efficiently for retail sales transactions, including cash register operations and cash handling. Upsell products by identifying customer needs and recommending suitable options to enhance their experience. Manage stock levels by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and merchandising products to maximize visual appeal. Handle retail store product knowledge queries with confidence, ensuring customers receive accurate information. Maintain phone etiquette when answering inquiries, directing calls professionally, and providing excellent customer service over the phone. Conduct cash drawer handling with accuracy, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded and balanced at shift end. Support inventory management through stock checks, product demos, and assisting with stock replenishment. Foster a positive environment through effective communication skills, teamwork, and adherence to store policies. Skills Previous job in the cannabis industry a must. We are the most educated staff in the area with a several course training program to uplevel service for our customers Proven experience with POS systems, cash register operations, and retail sales transactions. Supervising experience or leadership skills that demonstrate the ability to oversee daily operations or assist team members. Ability to perform retail math accurately for transactions involving discounts, taxes, and change calculations. Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on clear communication and active listening. Patience and kindness a must. Retail is not always easy. Those who are easy to trigger, do not last long here. Knowledge of retail store products, merchandising techniques, and basic inventory management practices. Experience in product demos or educating customers about product features is highly desirable. Familiarity with upselling techniques to enhance sales opportunities while maintaining customer satisfaction. Excellent phone etiquette for professional communication over calls. Ability to be on your feet for long periods of time in a fast paced environment.
