Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products based on their preferences and needs Provide detailed product demonstrations and educate customers on different strains, edibles, concentrates, and accessories Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently for retail sales transactions, cash handling, and inventory management Upsell products by highlighting features and benefits to enhance customer satisfaction and store sales Maintain accurate cash register operations, including cash drawer handling and balancing daily transactions Stock shelves, organize displays, and ensure proper merchandising of all products in accordance with company standards Conduct product demos when appropriate to inform customers about new or featured items Follow all regulations regarding age verification, security procedures, and store policies to ensure compliance with legal standards Assist with inventory management, including stock replenishment and inventory counts Deliver excellent customer service via phone etiquette for inquiries or order placements Qualifications Previous retail sales experience preferred; grocery store or similar customer-focused roles are a plus Supervising experience is advantageous for leadership opportunities within the team Bilingual skills are highly valued to serve diverse customer bases effectively Strong communication skills with the ability to educate customers clearly and confidently Familiarity with POS systems, cash register operations, and retail math for accurate transactions Knowledge of cannabis products or willingness to learn through training sessions and product demos Ability to handle cash handling responsibilities accurately and responsibly Excellent phone etiquette for customer interactions over the phone or online inquiries Experience in merchandising, stocking, and maintaining organized displays Basic math skills necessary for retail math calculations and cash drawer balancing Join us in creating a welcoming environment where customers feel informed, respected, and satisfied.
