Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Recreation Budtender to join our vibrant team! In this role, you will serve as a knowledgeable guide and friendly ambassador for our cannabis retail store, helping customers find the perfect products to enhance their wellness and recreational experiences. Must Have a Valid RIC card from the State to work in Cannabis. Duties Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions, and guiding them through product options with enthusiasm Assist customers in selecting products based on their preferences and needs, offering detailed product demos when appropriate Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently for retail sales transactions, including cash handling and processing payments accurately Upsell products by highlighting features, benefits, and complementary items to maximize customer satisfaction and store sales Maintain attractive merchandising displays and ensure products are well-stocked, organized, and properly labeled in accordance with company standards Conduct inventory checks, stock replenishment, and assist with stocking shelves to ensure product availability at all times Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when handling inquiries or taking orders remotely, maintaining professionalism at all times Supervise junior staff or trainees as needed, providing guidance on customer service techniques and store procedures Qualifications Previous retail experience in a fast-paced environment such as grocery stores or specialty retail is highly desirable Must Have a Valid IIC card from the State to work in Cannabis. Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers; bilingual abilities are a plus Experience with POS systems, cash handling, retail math, and cashiering procedures Knowledge of cannabis products or willingness to learn about product demos and merchandising techniques Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership qualities in a retail setting Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and professional phone etiquette Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for transactions and inventory management Familiarity with upselling strategies to enhance sales opportunities Previous experience in grocery store or similar retail environments is advantageous Join us in creating an engaging shopping experience that educates, inspires, and delights our customers!
