Job Title: Broker Operations Manager (Bilingual: English/Mandarin) Company Description: Dedicated Freight Inc. (DFI) is a growing logistics company based in City of Industry, CA, specializing in local truck delivery, port drayage, warehousing, FTL/LTL/PTL transportation, and cross-border e-commerce logistics. We are currently expanding our US Freight Brokerage division and utilizing the TAI TMS system. We are looking for an experienced Broker Operations Manager to help us build, standardize, and manage our freight brokerage operations from the ground up. Role Description: This is not a standard sales role. We need a process-driven leader. You will be responsible for setting up the workflow within our TAI TMS and ensuring that every load is profitable, compliant, and smoothly executed. Key Responsibilities: Manage daily operations and workflow setup within the TAI TMS platform. Oversee the full cycle of freight operations: customers, carriers, quotes, loads, dispatch, PODs, invoices, and margins. Establish standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the new freight broker division. Assist in setting pricing rules, baseline rate controls, and approval workflows. Manage broker customer ownership, quote records, and shipment profitability. Coordinate directly with the accounting team regarding AR/AP, carrier payments, and broker commission calculations. Supervise broker compliance to prevent underpricing, customer disputes, missed accessorial charges, and collection risks. Qualifications: Proven experience in US freight brokerage, 3PL, domestic transportation, or the trucking industry. Familiarity with FTL, LTL, local delivery, or drayage operations. Hands-on experience with TMS platforms (TAI TMS experience is a massive plus). Strong understanding of buy rates, sell rates, gross/net margins, and commission structures. Ability to independently handle quotes, load booking, carrier communication, tracking, and invoicing. Bilingual proficiency (English and Mandarin) is highly preferred to communicate effectively with our internal team and external partners. Compensation & Benefits: $4,500 – $8,000/month + Performance/Margin Bonus (Depending on experience and ability to build the platform). Work Location: City of Industry, CA (On-site required during the initial process-building phase, with potential hybrid flexibility later).
