The Sydney Harbour Bridge is entering an exciting new chapter with the opening of the Sydney Harbour BridgeMuseum - a world‑class cultural and immersive experience (operated by and part of BridgeClimb Sydney) honouring the Bridge’s history, engineering brilliance, and the people who built it and have continued to maintain it.
We’re looking for a leader who thrives on building something from the ground up. If you’re energised by creating memorable, high quality guest experiences, leading high performing teams, and bringing structure and creativity to a brand-new attraction, this is your moment.
What You’ll Do
- Drive commercial performance through operational excellence, budget management, compliance, and continuous improvement
- Participate in all talent attraction activities to build, train, and inspire a passionate team of guest relations representatives and supervisory roles
- Lead all remaining pre‑opening activities including operational design, visitor flow, policies and operating procedures, and guest experience standards
- Oversee a seamless museum opening, attending all launch events and collaborating with internal and external partners as needed
- From opening, shape and elevate the guest experience, ensuring the BridgeMuseum becomes a must visit destination for Sydney
About You
You bring both structure and heart to your work. You love creating meaningful experiences, know how to deliver operational excellence, and feel comfortable leading in a fast-paced environment.
You’ll thrive in this role if you have:
- Experience managing a museum, attraction experience, cultural venue, or similar guest facing environment
- Strong operational leadership with demonstrated success as a collaborative and approachable, hands-on leader
- Commercial acumen – managing profit and loss and budgets, retail performance, and revenue KPIs
- Passion for storytelling, culture, and delivering exceptional guest experiences in cultural tourism attraction experiences.
