This dynamic position plays an essential role in creating exceptional guest experiences by preparing and maintaining our complimentary breakfast, providing safe and courteous airport transportation, and assisting with the overall cleanliness and appearance of the hotel. Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesGuest Service & Transportation Provide safe, timely, and courteous transportation to and from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport and other approved local destinations. Greet guests warmly and provide exceptional customer service during all interactions. Assist guests with luggage, directions, hotel information, and recommendations for local attractions and restaurants. Maintain shuttle schedules and communicate effectively with the Front Desk regarding guest transportation needs. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and promptly report any maintenance or safety concerns. Ensure the hotel shuttle remains clean, fueled, and guest-ready at all times. Breakfast Operations Prepare, set up, maintain, and break down the hotel's complimentary breakfast buffet. Ensure all food items are properly stocked, fresh, and presented according to brand standards. Monitor breakfast service and replenish food and beverage items as needed throughout service hours. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the breakfast area, kitchen, and food preparation spaces. Wash dishes, clean equipment, and properly store food and supplies following health department guidelines. Hotel Operations Support Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of public areas, including the lobby, breakfast area, fitness center, and exterior entrances. Remove trash and assist with laundry and light housekeeping duties as needed. Perform light preventative maintenance tasks and report maintenance concerns to management. Assist other departments as needed to ensure efficient hotel operations and exceptional guest satisfaction. Follow all hotel safety, security, and emergency procedures. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous hospitality, customer service, food service, or shuttle driving experience preferred. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record required. Must be able to safely operate a passenger van. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Must be dependable, punctual, and flexible with scheduling, including weekends and holidays. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds regularly. Ability to push, pull, and carry supplies and luggage.
