Old Town Baking Company is hiring a Bread Depanning/Unloaders to join our production team. We are looking for a dependable, hardworking individual who is comfortable working in a fast-paced and hot bakery production environment. Position Summary The Bread Depanning/Unloader Worker is responsible for safely removing baked bread from racks and bread molds as it comes out of the baking process and preparing the product for the next stage of production. This position plays an important role in maintaining continuous production flow while protecting the quality and appearance of our finished bread products. Key Responsibilities Safely unload freshly baked bread from racks and bread molds. Handle baked products carefully to maintain product quality, shape, and appearance. Remove bread efficiently to maintain the required production flow. Inspect bread during the unloading process and identify visible product quality concerns. Organize empty bread molds, trays, racks, and other production materials for continued use. Move and position racks as required throughout the unloading process. Maintain an organized and clean work area. Follow established food safety, sanitation, and production procedures. Follow all workplace safety procedures and proper equipment-handling practices. Communicate production or product concerns to the appropriate supervisor. Work cooperatively with Baking, Packing, and other Production team members to maintain continuous workflow. Perform additional duties as assigned to support production operations. Qualifications Previous food production, bakery, warehouse, or manufacturing experience preferred. Ability to work in a fast-paced, production-driven environment. Dependable attendance and punctuality. Ability to follow instructions and established production procedures. Strong attention to product quality and consistency. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as required. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and remain physically active for extended periods. Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, reaching, and repetitive movement. Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. Ability to safely push and maneuver production racks. Ability to work in a hot bakery production environment near ovens and freshly baked products.
