Role Responsibilities Are you an experienced administrative professional who thrives in a fast-paced executive environment? The Branch Administrator provides high-level operational and administrative coordination support to the Executive Director's Office and branch leadership. The position serves as a key liaison with the Assistant Deputy Minister's Office, divisional partners, and other ministry stakeholders to support seamless service delivery, effective branch operations, and a positive, collaborative workplace culture. In this role, you will: Coordinate executive office operations, including calendars, meetings, correspondence, records, supplies, office logistics and competing priorities. Prepare and monitor budget forecasts, expenditures, spreadsheets, payables and receivables in collaboration with financial staff. Verify accounting entries, invoices, contract payments and expense claims for accuracy and compliance with departmental requirements. Manage correspondence, assess priorities, assign and track tasks, draft responses and ensure deadlines are met. Liaise with senior internal and external contacts regarding contracts, grants and information requests while maintaining confidentiality. Support human resource and administrative processes, including time reporting, onboarding, position documentation and branch records. Assist with office moves, space assignments, information technology needs, procurement and other operational requirements. Coordinate work and provide functional guidance to temporary or contracted administrative staff, as required.
