The Division of Services provides individualized rehabilitation services, educational consultation, technical assistance, and instruction that empower eligible individuals to achieve their desired levels of independence consistent with their abilities and informed choices.
We are seeking a Braille Unit and Operations Manager to manage, coordinate, and provide Braille textbook transcriptions for blind, visually impaired, and deafblind children in Virginia. This position is responsible for reviewing and implementing Braille transcription policies, ensuring timely provision of Braille textbooks, and supporting the Director of the Library Resource Center (LRC) with fiscal functions. The role also includes providing fiscal and program support to ensure delivery of LRC services through procurement, invoice processing, contract maintenance, and Bank of America Works activities.
