Overview Join our dynamic team as a Box Truck Owner Operator and take charge of delivering exceptional service with your own reliable vehicle! This energetic role offers the opportunity to operate a box truck, ensuring timely deliveries while providing outstanding customer experiences. As an essential part of our logistics network, you'll enjoy the independence of managing your own truck, also your responsible for hiring a helper.. The Contract is 5days a week TUES-SAT ONLY 8 STOPS PER DAY AVG OF 75-150 MILES PER DAY All Workers require DRUG TEST WE TAKE CARE OF INSURANCE !!! Duties Safely operate a box truck to pick up and deliver goods across designated routes, adhering strictly to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards Load and unload cargo using manual handling techniques, pallet jacks, or material handling equipment while practicing safe lifting practices Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with all safety standards Manage delivery documentation accurately and maintain detailed logs of routes, deliveries, and pickups Provide excellent customer service by ensuring timely deliveries and addressing customer inquiries professionally Assist with warehouse operations when needed, including material handling and moving items within storage areas Use mobile devices for route navigation, communication, and delivery confirmations Requirements Proven experience in commercial driving, delivery driving, or courier services involving box trucks or vans Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) preferred but not mandatory depending on vehicle size Experience operating manual transmission vehicles is highly desirable Knowledge of warehouse operations and material handling equipment operation such as pallet jacks or load & unload tools Ability to lift heavy items safely and perform manual handling tasks in accordance with safety standards Familiarity with DOT regulations, traffic laws, and weight handling in the workplace Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude during deliveries Comfortable using mobile devices for route management and communication Prior experience in warehouse experience or moving is a plus Embark on this rewarding journey where your driving skills meet exceptional service!
