Serious inquiries only Job Summary As a Box Truck Owner Operator, you’ll use your truck and driving skills to move and deliver goods safely and reliably. You’ll handle route driving, load and unload freight, and provide professional customer service at delivery locations. Your work helps customers receive their orders accurately and on time. Responsibilities Drive a box truck on assigned routes, follow traffic regulations, and comply with applicable Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. Load and unload freight; use safe lifting practices when handling heavy items and workplace loads. Use mobile devices to review delivery details, navigate routes, and record delivery updates. Communicate courteously with customers and resolve routine delivery questions. Your impact: Careful handling and dependable delivery help customers receive their goods in good condition. Experience Commercial driving, commercial truck driving, delivery driving, or courier experience is relevant; van driver or personal vehicle delivery experience is also useful. Warehouse experience, warehouse operations, and familiarity with material handling equipment are preferred. Ability to perform manual handling and moving tasks, including heavy lifting, and to follow safe lifting practices. Experience with a manual transmission, forklift, or pallet jack is helpful; these are not required. Knowledge of weight handling in the workplace and safe load practices is an asset.
