Box Truck Owner Operator
RSL logisticsJob Overview We are seeking experienced, reliable, and professional Owner Operator Box Truck Drivers as well as CDL A Drivers to support our growing delivery operations. Most opportunities are for Non-CDL Owner Operators using their own box trucks, typically 16–26 ft dock-height vehicles . We also have select opportunities for CDL A drivers to operate company-provided vehicles . Most of our work is performed Monday through Friday , with additional weekend opportunities available. Routes and deliveries may be available during both daytime and overnight hours , depending on customer needs. This is a great opportunity for dependable drivers who are comfortable working independently, following delivery procedures, and providing professional service to customers. Responsibilities Pick up and deliver freight within assigned appointment times or delivery/pickup windows. Follow all customer, facility, and company delivery protocols. Maintain accurate delivery documentation and obtain proper Proof of Delivery (POD) , including customer signature, printed name, date, and time when required. Safely load, secure, transport, and unload freight as applicable. Conduct regular vehicle inspections and ensure equipment is safe and operational. Maintain compliance with applicable DOT, safety, insurance, and customer requirements. Communicate delays, delivery issues, route exceptions, or service concerns promptly. Provide professional and courteous customer service at all pickup and delivery locations. Qualifications Previous experience in same-day delivery, courier, transportation, final-mile, or dedicated route operations preferred. Must be reliable, punctual, organized, and able to work independently. Strong communication and customer service skills. Clean and acceptable driving record. Ability to follow detailed delivery instructions and service protocols. Self-motivated and dependable. Owner Operator Requirements Must own or have reliable access to a 16–26 ft dock-height box truck . Must operate as an Independent Contractor or be willing to establish an EIN/business entity as required. Must maintain required commercial auto insurance and other applicable coverage . Vehicle must be properly registered, insured, maintained, and suitable for commercial delivery work. CDL A Driver Opportunities Valid CDL Class A required. Must meet applicable DOT and company driving requirements. Select positions may involve operating a company-provided vehicle . Preferred Qualifications TSA clearance or TWIC card, or willingness to obtain required credentials. Experience with airport pickups or secured facilities. Experience managing dedicated delivery routes or contract work. Experience with white-glove delivery service. Experience maintaining service-level requirements and on-time delivery performance.
