Safely operate a box truck to pick up and deliver goods across designated routes, adhering strictly to traffic regulations and safety standards Load and unload cargo using manual handling techniques, pallet jacks, or material handling equipment such as forklifts when necessary Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately, on time, and in excellent condition, maintaining high customer service standards Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of your vehicle to identify maintenance needs or safety concerns Communicate effectively with dispatchers using mobile devices to confirm routes, report issues, or update delivery statuses Follow DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations related to weight handling, hours of service, and safety protocols during all operations Maintain detailed logs of deliveries, mileage, and vehicle maintenance records for compliance and operational efficiency Skills Proven experience in delivery driving, warehouse operations, or courier services with a focus on manual handling and heavy lifting Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safe lifting practices to ensure safety for yourself and others Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles confidently and handle material handling equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks when required Strong customer service skills to represent the company professionally during deliveries Experience with route driving using mobile devices for navigation and communication purposes Knowledge of warehouse operations including loading/unloading procedures and material handling equipment operation Excellent driving record with adherence to traffic laws, safety standards, and DOT regulations Embark on a rewarding career as a Box Truck Owner Operator where your skills drive success!
