Box Truck Driver (OTR)

Job Summary We are hiring a driver for a 26 ft Box Truck. Regular driver’s license only — no CDL required. Please note: CDL holders can be accepted. Based in Chicago — we operate across the entire U.S. We pay 30% of the gross from each load. Weekly pay and steady work guaranteed. Requirements: – Legal status – Driver’s license (up to 26,000 lbs) – Clean record (no serious violations) Responsibilities Operate and drive truck to transport freight to specified destinations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of driving hours and vehicle maintenance. Follow designated routes while adhering to traffic laws and company policies. Load and unload cargo as required, utilizing Liftgate or other equipment when necessary. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding route changes or delays. Ensure that all freight is secured properly before transport to prevent damage during transit. Skills Experience with route driving and navigating various road conditions. Strong understanding of freight handling procedures and safety regulations. Time management skills to ensure timely deliveries. Good communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients. Capability to perform basic maintenance checks on vehicles as needed.
