Box Truck Driver (non-cdl)

Your driving skills must be excellent! as you’ll have to drive in different types of situations (urban/rural, highways/city roads). You should be punctual, have positive people skills in a terminal environment, motivation to work fast and safe at the same time. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of professionalism, reliability, and safety skills. Those with a CDL license are highly recommended to apply, but is not required. If you do not have driving experience with trucks 20ft or longer do not apply! Responsibilities: Drive 26ft box truck (Non-CDL) to required commercial and residential locations/destinations and ensure compliance with traffic and safety regulations. Pick up and Deliveries "PUD" Load and Unload pickups and deliveries and ensure materials are safely stowed in appropriate areas. Most loads are palletized items! We cover local Salt Lake County/Utah County/Davis and Weber counties , No out of state work! Operate our App and GPS Systems Operate Liftgate/Dolly and Pallet Jack Clean the Truck and collect all trash. Ensure vehicle is properly fueled, and check tire pressure. Liaise with warehouse staff to arrange dispatch of goods. Read Manifests and submit daily paperwork. Daily Inspections of truck Requirement to apply: Must be 21 years of age 1 year driving Experience or more driving box truck or larger commercial vehicle High School Diploma Must be able to pass drug test and physical Must have smart phone to operate the APP and GPS systems Lift 60 pounds Cannot have any Felony Convictions Must have own transportation and cannot have more than 3 traffic Violations Must be responsible, on-time, and have excellent safety awareness and driving skills This job requires physical activity...Do not apply if you are not a hard worker! 6 month commitment required! no exceptions This is "Independent Contractor" based work!
