Box Truck Driver (Non-CDL)

Overview: Must be at least 21 We are seeking a dedicated Box Truck Driver to join our team. Driver does not have to have a CDL license. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse operations and be skilled in communication, loading, unloading, and driving delivery vehicles. Responsibilities: - Safely operate a variety of trucks including box trucks and potentially forklifts - Load and unload cargo ensuring proper handling - Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members - Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance - Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations - Complete delivery routes in a timely manner Requirements: - Clean driving record - Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks - Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles - Knowledge of safe driving practices and DOT regulations - Experience with warehouse operations is a plus - Excellent communication skills for interacting with team members and customers Nice-to-Have Skills: - Experience operating forklifts for loading/unloading tasks - Previous work as a courier or delivery driver - Proficiency in handling box trucks efficiently This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment that values safety, teamwork, and efficient transportation practices.
