New EraBox Truck Driver – Non-CDL Company: New Era Trucking & Logistics Location: Bossier City, Louisiana; travel based on assigned routes Reports to: Transportation / Operations Manager Position Summary New Era Trucking & Logistics is seeking a reliable Non-CDL Box Truck Driver to complete freight pickups and deliveries, including assignments using a 26-foot box truck where a CDL is not required. The driver is responsible for safe vehicle operation, freight handling, accurate delivery documentation, and professional customer service. Key Responsibilities Safely operate assigned vehicles within the scope of the driver’s license and company authorization. Complete vehicle inspections and report damage, defects, or maintenance concerns. Follow assigned routes and communicate delivery progress or delays. Verify freight counts and inspect items for visible damage. Load, unload, and secure freight using approved procedures. Operate pallet jacks and liftgates after training and authorization. Obtain signatures, photographs, and other required proof of delivery. Work cooperatively with delivery helpers and customer receiving teams. Maintain a clean vehicle and protect company equipment and customer property. Qualifications Valid driver’s license appropriate for the assigned vehicle. Driving record acceptable under company and insurance requirements. Box truck, delivery, or commercial driving experience preferred. Ability to maneuver larger vehicles safely, including backing and parking. Ability to use navigation tools and mobile delivery applications. Pallet jack and liftgate experience preferred. Ability to meet applicable driver qualification and medical requirements for the assignment. Strong attendance, communication, and customer service skills. Physical and Scheduling Requirements Work includes driving, repeated vehicle entry and exit, standing, walking, bending, and moving freight using equipment or team assistance. Scheduling may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and regional travel. Reasonable accommodations may be provided to perform essential job functions. Employment for driving positions is contingent upon review of the applicant’s Motor Vehicle Record and meeting company and insurance carrier driver eligibility requirements.
