Box Truck Driver & Mover

Job Overview We are looking for a reliable, customer-focused Box Truck Driver and Mover to join our growing team in Las Vegas. In this role, you will safely operate a 26-foot box truck, lead or assist a moving crew, and handle the safe loading, transport, and unloading of household and commercial goods. A commercial driver's license (CDL) is not required, though Class A or B is a plus. Responsibilities Safely Operate Vehicles: Drive and maneuver up to a 26-foot box truck across local Las Vegas and surrounding areas in compliance with all traffic laws and DOT regulations. Perform Inspections: Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle safety inspections (checking fluid levels, tires, lift gates, straps, and walkboards). Load & Unload Cargo: Safely lift, carry, load, and unload heavy furniture, appliances, and boxes (frequently lifting 50–75+ lbs). Protect Belongings: Properly pad, wrap, and secure all items inside the truck using straps, E-tracks, and tie-downs to prevent transit damage. Customer Service: Provide a friendly, professional, and stress-free experience for residential and commercial moving clients. Paperwork & Inventory: Complete daily manifests, bill-of-lading forms, fuel receipts, and customer sign-offs accurately. Crew Leadership: Direct and assist helper crew members on-site to ensure fast, safe, and organized moves. Qualifications & Requirements: Age: Must be at least 21 to 22 years old (to meet commercial insurance requirements). License & Record: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (no more than 2 minor traffic tickets in the past 3 years). Class A or B CDL is preferred but not required. Experience: Prior experience driving a 26-foot box truck and/or working in the moving, delivery, or general labor industry. Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and carry 50–75+ pounds regularly and be on your feet for 6 to 10 hours a day (walking, stairs, bending). Screening: Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen. Soft Skills: Punctual, reliable, strong communicator, and a team player with a positive attitude. Skills: Required: Valid authorization to drive the assigned vehicle and the ability to perform manual handling and heavy lifting safely. Preferred: Box truck, commercial truck, van, courier, or personal vehicle delivery experience; delivery driver experience is welcome. Familiarity with commercial driving, route driving, delivery driving, moving, and warehouse operations is helpful. Knowledge of weight handling in the workplace, load securement, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment is an advantage. Customer service skills and experience with manual transmission vehicles are preferred.
