About the role We're hiring a delivery driver to run a 16–26 ft box truck on local routes, delivering furniture and appliances to residential and commercial customers. This isn't drop-and-go — most stops include bringing the item inside, placing it where the customer wants it, and completing basic setup or assembly. You'll usually work with a helper on a two-person crew. What you'll do Load, secure, and transport furniture and appliances on a daily route of [8–15] stops Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and keep the truck clean and road-ready Deliver into homes and businesses, including stairs, tight hallways, and elevators Assemble furniture and set up appliances (level, connect water/drain lines, plug in, test) where the order calls for it Haul away packaging and, when scheduled, remove old appliances Collect signatures, process paperwork or handheld scans, and handle COD payments if applicable Represent the company professionally What we're looking for Valid driver's license with a clean MVR ([no more than X moving violations in 3 years]) 1+ year of box truck, delivery, or moving experience preferred — we'll train the right person Able to lift 75 lbs repeatedly and with a partner, dolly, or lift gate Comfortable using hand tools, appliance dollies, straps, and stair climbers Able to pass a background check, drug screen, and DOT physical (DOT medical card required) Basic English reading/writing for delivery paperwork and customer communication No CDL required — our trucks are under 26,001 lbs GVWR Pay: $150.00 - $200.00 per day Work Location: In person
