Job Overview: Are you energetic, reliable, and looking for a driving role where you aren't just stuck behind the wheel all day? We are seeking a motivated Box Truck Driver & Event Equipment Installer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will safely operate commercial box trucks to deliver, install, and pick up rental equipment. Please note: This is a highly active, physically demanding role. You will spend about 30% of your time driving and 70% of your time handling equipment and working directly with clients on-site. Key Responsibilities: Safe Driving: Safely operate commercial box trucks (non-CDL) for delivery and pickup routes, strictly adhering to DOT regulations and traffic laws. Hands-On Installation: Load, unload, and set up event equipment—including large commercial tents, tables, chairs, and staging—using manual handling techniques and pallet jacks. Vehicle Inspections: Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance. Customer Service: Act as the face of the company on-site, assisting clients with a professional attitude and clear communication. Documentation: Maintain accurate delivery logs and digital route records using mobile tracking tools. Qualifications & Requirements: Experience: Minimum 2 years of proven experience driving commercial straight/box trucks or large courier vehicles. License: Valid Driver’s License with a clean, acceptable driving record (Required). Physical Ability: Must be able to repeatedly lift, push, and pull up to 70 lbs, with a full range of motion and physical dexterity. Schedule Flexibility: Must be consistently available for weekend work, late evenings, and overtime. Full availability is critical during our peak event months ( May, June, September, and October ). Screening: Must be able to pass a pre-employment company drug screen. Communication: Strong customer service skills with the ability to speak English clearly and write legibly. Why Join Us?
