Box Truck Driver

Duties Safely operate box and flatbed trucks and with automatic transmission across designated delivery routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Load and unload cargo efficiently using equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts, ensuring proper handling of goods to prevent damage Deliver products to customers’ locations promptly while maintaining professional communication and outstanding customer service Verify delivery details, obtain signatures, and complete necessary documentation accurately for each shipment Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure optimal performance and report any maintenance issues promptly Assist with warehouse tasks including inventory checks, organizing freight, and preparing loads for daily routes Follow route plans diligently, adjusting as needed for traffic or unforeseen delays to meet delivery schedules Skills Proven experience as a delivery driver, courier, or box truck driver with a strong focus on route driving efficiency Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients Hands-on warehouse experience including load & unload procedures, heavy lifting, and moving freight safely Proficiency in operating commercial vehicles with manual transmission and familiarity with heavy equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks Knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and best practices for commercial driving Ability to perform manual tasks involving lifting heavy items safely and efficiently Strong organizational skills to manage multiple deliveries while maintaining attention to detail Embark on a rewarding career where your driving expertise makes a real impact!
