Responsibilities Safely operate box trucks with manual transmission to pick up and deliver freight along assigned routes Load and unload cargo efficiently using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or roll-off trucks when necessary Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and delivery records throughout your shift Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during every trip Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues promptly Assist with securing freight on flatbed or refrigerated trailers as required for specialized shipments Experience Proven experience in truck driving, especially with commercial vehicles such as tractor-trailers, dump trucks, or refrigerated trailers, or box trucks Familiarity with route driving, load & unload procedures, and freight handling techniques Hands-on experience operating manual transmission trucks is highly preferred Knowledge of safety standards related to tanker, flatbed, or roll-off truck operations is a plus Delivery driver experience involving freight delivery across diverse environments is desirable Ability to operate forklifts or other loading equipment is advantageous Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with relevant endorsements for different truck types (e.g., tanker, flatbed) Embark on a rewarding career where your driving skills make a difference!
