Box Truck Driver, Class B

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and dependable Box Truck Driver, Class B, or higher to join our dynamic logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating a Class B box truck to deliver freight efficiently across various routes, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. Your expertise in commercial truck driving, route navigation, and cargo handling will play a vital part in maintaining our high standards of service. Duties Safely operate a Class B box truck on local and over-the-road (OTR) routes, adhering to all FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards Load and unload freight, including logistics cargo handling, ensuring proper manual handling techniques to prevent damage or injury Use GPS navigation systems to follow optimized delivery routes and ensure timely arrivals at each destination Transport various types of freight. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with safety regulations Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and reports in accordance with FMCSA regulations Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues promptly Requirements Valid Class B commercial driver’s license (CDL) or higher, with a clean driving record Proven experience in commercial truck driving, delivery driving, or freight transportation Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT regulations, and safety protocols for truck driving Ability to handle manual loading/unloading tasks safely Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and route planning for efficient deliveries Strong manual handling skills for load & unload operations and logistics cargo handling Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety, compliance, and customer service Join our team as a Box Truck Driver, Class B, where your skills will drive success!
