Box Truck Driver – CDL Class B

Steel Valley Wastewater, our new wastewater treatment facility in Weirton, needs a Class B driver who does the job safely, does it right and takes care of customers. You'll help build Steel Valley from the ground up, backed by Spirit Energy Services, which has served the Tri-State area since 2006. Our Core Values Safety: Everyone goes home safe, every day. What You'll Do Own your route: Pick up drums, totes and containers of non-hazardous waste at customer sites and deliver them safely to Steel Valley, then help unload and stage them at the facility. Keep customers coming back: You'll be the person our customers see most. Build relationships, solve problems on the spot, and pass along new service opportunities. Get it right: Inspect and verify each container against its waste profile, then complete manifests, bills of lading and service tickets accurately. Stay safe and compliant: Complete pre- and post-trip inspections, keep accurate ELD logs, secure every load, and follow DOT and Company rules. What We're Looking For A can-do attitude: You look for ways to say yes to customers and teammates, and you take ownership when something needs fixing. Credentials: Valid Class B CDL (or higher), current DOT medical card, and an MVR that meets our insurance standards. HazMat endorsement is a plus. Experience: Route, delivery or waste-hauling experience is preferred but not required. Forklift and drum-handling experience are also a plus; we'll train the right person. Dependable and detail-minded: You show up on time, communicate clearly and keep your paperwork clean. At least 21 years old with a high school diploma or GED. You must pass a DOT drug screen, Clearinghouse query and background check. Physical Requirements & Work Environment Lift up to 50 lbs regularly and maneuver full 55-gallon drums (400+ lbs) using a liftgate, dollies, a pallet jack or a forklift. Climb in and out of the truck, work on loading docks, and bend, kneel and reach throughout the day. Work outdoors in all weather at industrial sites, with possible exposure to fumes, industrial liquids and moving equipment. PPE is provided. Why You'll Love Working Here Staged sign-on bonus: $500 total, $250 paid out at 90 days, $250 paid out at 180 days. Home most nights: Local and regional routes with a steady day-shift schedule.
