Box Truck Driver

Responsibilities Safely operate box trucks and tractor-trailers on over-the-road (OTR) routes, ensuring timely deliveries across multiple locations Load and unload freight using manual handling techniques, ensuring cargo is secured properly for transit Navigate using GPS systems to optimize routes and meet delivery schedules efficiently Comply with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration), DOT (Department of Transportation), hazardous materials regulations, and other safety standards during all operations Transport refrigerated trailers, hazardous goods, or specialized freight such as flatbed or tanker loads as required Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety and report any issues promptly Maintain accurate delivery logs, shipment documentation, and compliance records in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements Requirements Proven experience in commercial truck driving, delivery driving, or freight transportation Familiarity with truck loading/unloading procedures and logistics cargo handling techniques Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, hazard materials regulations, DOT rules, and safety protocols for dangerous goods Experience operating manual transmission trucks and tractor-trailers preferred Ability to handle manual handling tasks safely and efficiently during load & unload processes Strong navigation skills using GPS navigation systems for route planning and execution Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety, compliance, and customer service excellence Join us to drive your career forward in a role that values your expertise in trucking logistics!
