Box Truck Driver/ Appliance installer

Overview As a Box Truck Driver/Appliance Installer, you’ll deliver appliances and install them in customers’ homes. You’ll operate a company box truck, handle equipment safely, and provide clear, courteous service from delivery through setup. Your impact: Careful delivery and dependable installation help customers use their appliances safely and confidently. Responsibilities Load, secure, transport, and unload appliances while following safe lifting and company vehicle procedures Install and assemble appliances; complete appropriate plumbing and electrical connections Use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and schematics to perform installation and basic appliance repair Troubleshoot equipment, refrigeration, and mechanical issues; complete equipment repair or refer work beyond your scope Communicate with customers, confirm installation details, and maintain a clean, respectful work area Qualifications Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a box truck safely; delivery driver experience is preferred and a good driving record Appliance installation, appliance repair, field service, or equipment maintenance experience is preferred Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) tasks are helpful Working knowledge of hand and power tools, ladder use, schematics, equipment troubleshooting, and assembly is an asset Electrical experience and familiarity with basic electrical work and plumbing are preferred; follow applicable safety procedures and work within your training and authorization Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour Benefits: Tools provided People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply Work Location: On the road
