Box Truck Driver

Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Box Truck Driver and take charge of delivering freight efficiently and safely across various routes. This role is perfect for motivated drivers who thrive on navigating diverse terrains, managing logistics cargo handling, and ensuring timely deliveries. As a key player in our transportation network, you will operate refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, or tanker trucks while adhering to all FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations, DOT (Department of Transportation) standards, and hazardous materials regulations. Your expertise in commercial truck driving and route driving will help us maintain exceptional service levels and uphold safety standards on every journey. Duties Safely operate box trucks, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, or tanker trucks, across over-the-road (OTR) routes and local deliveries Load and unload freight with manual handling techniques, ensuring cargo safety and compliance with logistics cargo handling protocols Navigate using GPS systems to follow optimized delivery routes while maintaining awareness of traffic conditions and road hazards Transport hazardous materials or dangerous goods in accordance with hazardous materials regulations and safety protocols Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle condition, including checking for compliance with FMCSA and DOT regulations Load & unload freight efficiently, ensuring proper securing of cargo to prevent damage during transit Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and reports in compliance with DOT and FMCSA standards Experience Proven experience as a delivery driver or truck driver, preferably with experience in refrigerated trailer or hazardous materials transportation Familiarity with commercial driving licenses (CDL), manual transmission operation, and tractor-trailer handling Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, hazard communication standards, and dangerous goods handling procedures Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely during truck loading and unloading processes Strong route driving skills with proficiency in GPS navigation systems for efficient delivery planning Prior experience with freight management, logistics cargo handling, and DOT compliance is highly desirable Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with the necessary endorsements for the type of vehicle operated Embark on a rewarding career where your driving skills make a difference!
