Box Truck Driver

Job Summary As a Box Truck Driver, you’ll transport freight and support dependable deliveries by driving safely, navigating assigned routes, and handling cargo with care. This role may involve local route driving or over-the-road (OTR) routes, depending on business needs. You’ll follow applicable Department of Transportation (DOT) and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations and communicate clearly about delivery progress or issues. Duties Drive a box truck for commercial and delivery driving, using GPS navigation to follow routes and adjust when needed. Load, unload, and secure freight; use safe manual handling practices to protect cargo and prevent injury. Your impact: Careful driving and cargo handling help customers receive their deliveries safely and on schedule. Complete delivery records and inspect the vehicle and load before, during, and after trips. Experience Experience in truck driving, commercial truck driving, commercial driving, or delivery driver work is preferred. Familiarity with logistics cargo handling, truck loading and unloading, and freight procedures is an asset. Must be able to perform the driving and manual handling duties of the role and follow applicable safety regulations. Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour Work Location: In person
