Box Truck Driver

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and dependable Box Truck Driver to join our dynamic logistics team! In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating box trucks to deliver freight efficiently across various routes, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. Your expertise in commercial truck driving, route navigation, and cargo handling will be vital in maintaining our high standards of service. Duties Safely operate box trucks, including those with refrigerated trailers, on over-the-road (OTR) routes and local deliveries Navigate using GPS systems to ensure efficient route planning and timely deliveries Load and unload freight, including hazardous materials and dangerous goods, adhering strictly to FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and hazardous materials regulations Transport automobile parts or other cargo securely, ensuring proper handling of specialty items such as flatbed or tanker loads when required Maintain compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and truck driving safety standards during all operations Conduct pre-trip inspections, monitor vehicle condition throughout the shift, and perform routine maintenance checks Document delivery details accurately, including mileage, cargo status, and delivery confirmations Qualifications Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for box trucks and hazardous materials as applicable Proven experience in commercial truck driving, delivery driving, or freight transportation Familiarity with refrigerated trailers, flatbed trucks, tankers, and other specialized equipment is a plus Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT regulations, hazardous materials regulations, and safety protocols for manual handling and truck loading/unloading Experience with GPS navigation systems for route planning and real-time tracking Ability to handle manual transmission vehicles and perform manual handling tasks safely Strong understanding of logistics cargo handling procedures for freight security and damage prevention Join us as a Box Truck Driver to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering excellence!
