Box Truck Driver

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and dependable Box Truck Driver to join our dynamic logistics team! In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating box trucks to deliver freight efficiently across various routes, including over-the-road (OTR) assignments. Your expertise in commercial truck driving, route navigation, and cargo handling will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining compliance with all safety and transportation regulations. Duties Safely operate box trucks equipped with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, or tankers for local and OTR deliveries Navigate using GPS systems to ensure efficient routing and timely delivery schedules Load and unload freight, including hazardous materials and dangerous goods, following proper manual handling procedures Secure cargo properly to prevent shifting during transit, adhering to logistics cargo handling standards Comply with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration), DOT (Department of Transportation), and hazardous materials regulations during all operations Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and inspection reports in accordance with regulatory requirements Perform routine vehicle inspections before and after trips, reporting any maintenance issues promptly Experience Proven experience as a commercial truck driver, specifically with box trucks or tractor-trailers involved in freight delivery Familiarity with refrigerated trailers, flatbed, tanker, or specialized transportation equipment is preferred Demonstrated knowledge of route driving, load & unload procedures, and truck loading/unloading techniques Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) preferred but not mandatory depending on route requirements Experience handling hazardous materials and understanding related safety protocols is a plus Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles confidently and adhere strictly to safety standards at all times Strong understanding of DOT regulations, hazard communication standards, and safety procedures for dangerous goods Join us to be part of a dedicated team that values safety, efficiency, and professionalism.
