Box Truck Driver

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and dependable Box Truck Driver to join our logistics team! In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating box trucks to deliver freight and goods across various routes, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. Your expertise in commercial truck driving, route navigation, and cargo handling will be essential to maintaining our high standards of service. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be a vital part of our transportation operations, supporting the efficient movement of freight while adhering to all safety and regulatory guidelines. Responsibilities Safely operate box trucks, including those with refrigerated trailers, on over-the-road (OTR) routes and local deliveries Navigate using GPS systems to ensure efficient routing and timely deliveries Load and unload freight, utilizing manual handling techniques and proper equipment to ensure cargo safety Comply with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration), DOT (Department of Transportation), hazardous materials regulations, and other safety standards Transport various types of freight, including hazardous materials and dangerous goods, following all safety protocols Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and inspection reports in accordance with company policies Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks to ensure truck safety and compliance Qualifications Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record Proven experience in commercial truck driving, delivery driving, or route driving Familiarity with tractor-trailer operations, flatbed, tanker, or refrigerated trailer hauling preferred Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, hazardous materials regulations, and DOT compliance standards Experience with manual transmission trucks is highly desirable Ability to load & unload freight efficiently while following safety procedures Strong understanding of logistics cargo handling and truck loading/unloading processes Excellent navigation skills using GPS navigation systems for route planning and execution Ability to handle manual handling tasks safely and effectively under various conditions Join us as a Box Truck Driver and become an essential part of our transportation team!
