Box Truck Driver

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Box Truck Driver and take charge of delivering goods efficiently and safely across various routes. Responsibilities Safely operate box trucks, including refrigerated trailers, on over-the-road (OTR) routes and local deliveries Load and unload freight with manual handling techniques, ensuring proper securing of frozen food. Navigate routes using GPS navigation systems to optimize delivery times and maintain accurate delivery schedules Follow FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards for commercial truck driving and safety protocols Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT regulations Load freight onto trucks using forklifts or manual methods, ensuring proper cargo handling and weight distribution Deliver freight efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service and communication throughout each route Requirements Valid driver’s license with the age of atleast 21 years old. Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including delivery driving with box trucks. Familiarity with refrigerated trailers. Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, hazard materials regulations, DOT rules, and safety standards for truck driving Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles confidently and handle manual loading/unloading tasks Experience with GPS navigation systems for route planning and execution Strong understanding of safety procedures related to dangerous goods and hazardous materials transportation We’re looking for motivated drivers who are eager to keep deliveries moving smoothly while prioritizing safety.
