Box Truck Driver

Job Summary Join our delivery team as a Box Truck Driver and keep freight moving safely and reliably. You’ll drive assigned routes, use GPS navigation, and handle cargo from pickup through delivery. This role may involve local or over-the-road (OTR) routes and different vehicle or freight types, depending on operational needs. Your impact: Careful driving and secure cargo handling help customers receive their deliveries safely and on schedule. Duties Operate a box truck for commercial driving and delivery driving; follow assigned route plans and GPS navigation. Load, unload, and secure freight using safe manual handling practices; verify cargo and delivery documentation. Follow applicable Department of Transportation (DOT) and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations, as well as hazardous materials and dangerous goods requirements when applicable. Inspect the vehicle and report maintenance or safety concerns; communicate route delays and delivery issues promptly. Support logistics cargo handling and, when qualified and assigned, work with tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or automobile transportation. Experience Delivery driver experience, truck driving, commercial truck driving, or other commercial driving experience is preferred. Safe driving practices and familiarity with route driving are important; experience with manual transmission is an asset. Experience handling freight and truck loading and unloading is helpful. Hazmat (hazardous materials) experience or knowledge of hazardous materials regulations is preferred for applicable assignments. Must meet applicable driving, licensing, and regulatory requirements for assigned vehicles and routes. Pay: $1,000.00 - $2,000.00 per week Work Location: On the road
