Box Truck Driver

Box Truck Driver Department: Logistics / Transportation Schedule: Monday–Friday; Saturdays as needed Employment Type: Full-Time Position Summary We are seeking a responsible, punctual, and dependable Box Truck Driver to support transportation and logistics operations between company locations. The driver will be responsible for safely operating an assigned box truck, completing daily routes efficiently, and ensuring products and materials are transported safely and on time. A CDL is not required for this position. Candidates must have a valid driver's license, at least one year of box truck driving experience, and a clean driving record. Key Responsibilities Safely operate an assigned box truck for company transportation needs. Complete assigned inbound and outbound routes between company locations efficiently and on schedule. Transport products, materials, equipment, and other company items as assigned. Follow all assigned routes, schedules, and delivery instructions. Maintain consistent communication with the Logistics team and supervisor regarding route status, delays, deliveries, or any issues. Load and unload products or materials as needed. Assist with Shipping and Receiving activities when required. Assist other departments or areas as needed to support daily operations. Complete daily vehicle inspections before operating the assigned truck. Report any mechanical issues, damage, unusual conditions, safety concerns, or maintenance needs immediately. Maintain the assigned truck clean, organized, and in good operating condition. Ensure products and materials are properly secured during transportation. Maintain required delivery, pickup, and transportation documentation. Follow all company safety policies and transportation procedures. Demonstrate professional and respectful communication with employees, vendors, and other company locations. Perform other transportation, warehouse, or logistics duties as assigned. Qualifications & Requirements Valid Driver's License required. Minimum 1 year of box truck driving experience required. Clean driving record must be presented. CDL is not required. Previous experience operating a forklift and pallet jack preferred. Forklift and pallet jack certification preferred. Ability to safely load and unload products and materials. Responsible, punctual, and dependable. Strong communication skills and ability to maintain contact with supervisors and the Logistics team. Ability to follow routes, schedules, and instructions accurately. Ability to work independently and manage assigned routes efficiently. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and assist other areas when needed. Must be available Monday through Friday and Saturdays as needed based on business and production needs. This individual should be willing to assist with warehouse, shipping, and receiving activities when needed and maintain clear communication with supervisors and the Logistics team.
